About Me…

In my heart, I am a nurse.

The heart of nursing is to care. For nearly 30 years, I’ve cared for others, spending most of my career in hospice and palliative care. I have sat with hundreds of people on their last days and been with so many of them on their last day. Sitting with the dying for so long has profoundly shaped my perspective, reminding me how precious and fleeting life truly is. Dying is the ultimate transition—not just for the one experiencing it but also for those who love them. These transitions hold immense power, and I’ve come to see that all transitions in life carry similar potential for transformation.

My own journey through transition includes a time when pronounced professional burnout coincided with me reaching the age at which my mother died. It threw me into a tailspin. I tried all kinds of interesting things to soothe the distress—like selling everything I owned and traveling around overseas for many months. While these adventures were enriching, the pandemic forced me to confront my inner turmoil once more. It was then that I discovered medicine work, and to say it changed my life would be an understatement.

Medicine work brought me deep into my personal issues and back to my authentic self in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It continues to guide me toward deeper connection, healing, and expansion. This possibility of transformation can be available to those who are truly ready for change. Medicine work is not a quick fix or a cure-all, but it is a tool for seeing yourself more clearly. Journeys can be deep and powerful, and readiness and profound self-honesty are essential to engage with the process fully.

I am endlessly curious and passionate about learning. Over the years, I’ve pursued extensive education and training to deepen my knowledge and skill set. I hold bachelor’s degrees in both Health Education and Nursing and am certified as a Death Doula. I have additional certifications in holistic health and nutrition, spiritual philosophy, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I’ve had full didactic training for MDMA-assisted therapy through MAPS. I’ve completed basic and advanced ketamine training through Palo Santo Therapies, and I am completing a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology. I also have basic training in breathwork, and this summer, I will train in Grof’s Holotropic Breathwork.

My decades of nursing experience and diverse education and training give me a uniquely skilled and compassionate approach to this growing field. Whether you’re navigating life’s transitions, exploring medicine work, or seeking support in your healing journey, I look forward to connecting with you and helping you discover the care, clarity, and transformation you seek.

Work With Me…

Life is a series of metamorphoses. We all move through known and/or sudden times of transition that can be marked in our memory as “before___” and “after___.” These times of transition are doorways ——> thresholds to a new way of being. They offer undeniable forces of initiation and transformation. These times can be mysterious, allowing us the possibility of awakening something hidden in our nature - perhaps a shadow, perhaps a gift - inviting us to expand and heal our hearts, minds, and lives. Carl Jung posited that the human psyche moves toward the ultimate goal of maturity, completion, and fulfillment. Times of transition are paramount in one's evolution as they are confronted, embraced, and integrated thoroughly and wholeheartedly. Some obvious times of transition are death, divorce, tragedy, diagnosis, menopause, retirement, burnout, midlife crisis, etc. Without an outward label, sometimes transitional spaces are when one simply knows in their gut that things need to change.

This is where medicine work can be highly beneficial, allowing you to go deep into your psyche and harness your own inner healing intelligence. I believe in the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness, and I have witnessed firsthand how it can transform lives, my own included. My intention is to create with you a container of integrity, presence, wisdom, and healing that fosters your growth and transformation. Our therapeutic alliance is collaborative, and you are seen and witnessed with unconditional positive regard. Medicine sessions are unique experiences that involve intuition, expression, vulnerability, and mystery.

If you’re ready to deepen your understanding and relationship with death and dying, I’m here to walk alongside you. We live in a culture that glorifies youth and avoids the reality of impermanence. Too often, death arrives like an emergency—catching everyone off guard, as if we hadn’t known all along that we, too, shall pass. Sitting at the bedside of the dying has taught me that facing death with awareness can transform fear into presence, regret into peace, and the unknown into something sacred. I offer deep conversations and mentoring to help you explore your beliefs, navigate fears, and approach death in a way that is both healthy and realistic. Whether you're contemplating your own mortality or supporting a loved one, I provide a space for honesty, reflection, and meaning-making.

Let’s Begin the Journey…

Wherever you find yourself—whether at a crossroads, in search of clarity, or ready to explore the depths of your inner world—I’m here to walk with you. Together, we’ll honor the transitions in your life as powerful opportunities for growth and transformation.
